A filter for squeezing or pressing out suspensions has the following main components: a boiler-shaped outer casing, a cover releasably closing the outer casing at its open end face, a tubular filter element projecting from the cover and an elastic membrane which is arranged between outer casing and filter element and is connected, on the one hand, to the open end face of the outer casing and, on the other, to the end face of the filter element remote from the cover such that the membrane is inverted when the cover is removed coaxially from the outer casing. In a filter of this type, the inner diameter of the slack membrane in the region of the filter element is equal to or smaller than the outer diameter of the filter element.

The invention relates to the field of filtration, namely to squeezing filters for suspensions.
The aim of the invention is to increase the service life of the membrane.
FIG. 1 shows a squeeze filter with an inverted diaphragm in the closed state; in fig. 2 is the same in the open state; FIG. 3 shows the node I in FIG. 1, a partial section J in FIG. 4 — node 11 in FIG. 1, partial section; in FIG. 5, node III in FIG. 1, partial section.
The squeeze filter contains a cauldron-shaped outer casing 1 with a circular cross-section, which is closed on one end side and open on the opposite end side. On the open end side, the outer casing 1 is equipped with a peripheral flange consisting of two parts 2 and 3, between which one of the edge zones 4 of the hose-like membrane 5, made of elastic material, is fixed. From the outer casing 1 there is an upward suction in the discharge nozzle 6. In addition, the outer casing 1 can be connected through a carrier (not described in detail) structure with a working sleeve 7 mounted for movement along a fixed rod 8 parallel to the axis of the outer casing, 1. A rigid pipe 11 is spaced from the inner side of the lid 10 facing the outer casing 1. The outer casing 1 is rigidly connected to the lid 10 through a bayonet lock 16 located inside the pipe 11, which partially rests on a shoulder 17 protruding from the closed end side of the outer casing 1 inward. The lid 10 is provided with inlet 18 and outlet 19 pipelines.

The surfaces of the annular shoulders 20 and 21 form an angle of 30 to 60 ° with the axis of the squeeze filter (preferably about 45).
On both edges (D and 10) of the membrane 5, annular surfaces 22 and 23 are provided, extending vertically with respect to the axis of the membrane.
In the crank 10 is mounted for rotation around the axis 24, the shaft 25, which can be driven into rotation in the direction of the arrow A with the drive motor 26.
